Bein' a black woman from Mississippi, I've learned that long ago that's not true
Its 'with a handful, for a handful, by a handful' - but we gonna change that baby.

If this society of yours is a great society
God knows I would hate to live in a bad one.
One crowd of people can't change the status quo
